Reopened in March 2026 on the ground floor of Tak Shing House in Central, Hong Kong, Dot Cod is an iconic European seafood destination featuring an oyster bar, private dining, and fine wine offerings across two levels. To support its elevated culinary presentation and dining demands, Dot Cod partnered with Taitang for a bespoke bone china and ceramic tableware package.
Customization Process
- Backstamp Logo Branding: Applied precision-fired "Dot Cod" brand logos onto the base of teapots and serving ware, delivering a clean, permanent branding touch.
- Classic Embossed European Design: Crafted high-translucency fine bone china tea sets featuring vertical relief lines on teapots, teacups, and matching saucers to complement the restaurant's elegant interior.
- Seafood Presentation Dishware: Selected wide-rimmed, high-luster white porcelain plates designed to highlight fresh imported oysters and seafood courses.

- Chip Resistance: Conducted rigorous testing for thermal shock durability, glaze scratch resistance, and commercial dishwasher safety.
- Food Safety Compliance: Verified that all glazes and underglaze logo transfers are 100% lead-free and cadmium-free, adhering to strict international food contact standards.
- Online Inspection: Inspection sessions with the client's procurement team, confirming backstamp placement, glaze smoothness, and quantity counts before shipment.
